ANNOUNCEMENT: AN AUCTION OF FINE ART CHILD GUIDANCE CENTER TO HOLD A LIVE AUCTION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PARK WEST GALLERY Special thanks to The Haskell Company who has donated the Haskell Building for this afternoon event being held on Sunday, November 7, 2004. Preview of pieces available for sale begins at 1:30 p.m. and the Auction of Fine Art begins at 3:00 p.m. The art collection consists of more than 300 pieces of custom framed works, including original watercolor paintings, acrylics, oils, lithographs, serigraphs, etchings, engravings, mixed-media works and original animation cels. Both modern masters and old world master works are featured, including Peter Max, Salvador Dali, Picasso, Rembrandt, Sports & Animation art, Erte and many more. 100% acid free rag matting hinges are used on each and every piece of framed artwork. Also, a registered Certificate of Authenticity is available for each work of art. All pieces are available for viewing prior to the auction. Refreshments include an assortment of wine and cheeses. All proceeds from this benefit support the programs of Child Guidance Center. The mission of Child Guidance Center (“CGC”) is to provide quality mental health and social services to children and their families. CGC is the largest provider of outpatient and community-based mental health and behavioral services to children, adolescents, and their families in Jacksonville. Last year, CGC helped more than 3,700 children who were in crises. Over the past 52 years of providing services to children, CGC has helped many more. Any child can come to CGC, regardless of their ability to pay, and receive assistance. Over ninety percent (90%) of consumers are indigent or lower income. CGC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
